Journalists for July!

Hi Chobots! July is here!  It's time to update our Journalists!

If you are unfamiliar with our program, its official name is the Journalist Program. In this program we award bloggers around Chobots who show off their skills in blog creating, posting, template building, and many other skills of blogging!

To start, the badge is in the lower-left hand corner of your playercard. It looks like this...

Vchobot1 is a perfect example! His blog is amazingly neat and is always updated. His format and template fit with his header and tabs and has wonderful and helpful tips for things! You can check out his cool blog here: http://www.chohelp.net/

 

By being a Journalist of Chobots, you get some cool features that other Chobots don't have access to.

-For one, you get your own Journalist badge right on your playercard.

-Next, you get a spot on the official Chobots blogroll for the blog you own.

-And lastly, you get a bonus of 5000 bugs a month (which is paid on the 1st of the month).

To become a Journalist of Chobots, you should try to do at least one of the following things, the more the better your chances:

1) Publish original content on your blog.
2) Help out in the Chobots community both in and out of the actual game.
3) Post on the forum to interact with other users.

You may have noticed that #1 is stating how you have to publish original content. If you're wondering what this means, it means that when you make blog posts, you should use your own words, not just copy directly from somewhere else, (like the official blog). You're free to reuse pictures, but try to reword everything into how you would say it!

Aren't those some cool rewards for blogging about Chobots? If you'd like to be a Journalist for Chobots, just comment the url/web address of your blog (not a blog you work on, but your own personal and stylish cool blog!) to this post and we will review it. All blogs of any age can be submitted, but remember, you can only submit once a month, so make it count! We will add more Journalists to the program based on the creativity you put into your blogging skills.

Former Journalists from May and June 2012 will need to resubmit  so we know they are still active in their blogging activity! Our Journalists will vary month to month based on their activity, skills of posting, ability to assist users both on their blogs and in game, and how much fun they can be!

Updates!

Hey guys! After the surprise party with no chatting, the chobots team closed chobots for a while and added some new updates. As I was cleaning my wardrobe out a bit, I saw this message come up.

The message looks way more different compare to the old one! I like its style very much :) Another update I saw was that the playercards aren't purple anymore!

Agent Meeting

Good day to all the Agents of Chobots world! Our monthly agency meeting will be conducted this Saturday, May 19th, 2012. We hope you can all attend, but these meetings are not mandatory. This month we will be discussing about some new things coming up in the next month, including features, parties, clothes, etc... and also take some recommendations for any users they seem to be agent worthy!

The meetings will occur at 3:20PM and 10:00PM Chobots Time on Saturday!

The 2nd meeting is in 1 Hours, 42 Minutes.

Chat Bubble :)

Heey,

YAY we got new chat bubbles look at them !!

CHAT BUBBLES!

Can you believe this? This is such a cool feature that has been brought to the world of Cho!

To obtain a bubble, simply go to the Shop and scroll down to the bottom section. Here you will find the chat bubbles you can buy! When you buy one, it will go to your body items panel and you can adjust your chat color from there.

We only have 60 bubbles available, so only 60 lucky people will be able to have a unique chat bubble for the first round!

You also may have seen staff wear different colored chat bubbles in the past, but from now on Staff of Chobots.net will have a RED chat bubble. This will make us easily identifiable if you require assistance.

Video Contest ;D

Hey,

Do you see Today we gona have a Video Contest :)

Our theme for this contest is Earth Day!

It's going to be a fun video contest for sure! To be eligible in competing your video has to start off with this beginning:You come onto Chobots and you see Nichos cutting down all the trees.

From here you need to continue with the video. We will have prizes for all entries that are eligible to compete. Isn't that cool? I know everybody likes prizes, right???

100 blogs!

Wooo hooo! Today Program made history I have reached my goal mark, 100 blogs! Our last person to let me be an author on their blog is Vilt! Also congratulations vilt on designer badge! My new goal is to now earn a J-Badge and still my old goal, to become an agent . A J-Badge stands for journalism. You think I can do it? Dave came on and gave some helpful tips to start, which I am already ahead of!

1. Post on your own blog!
2. Follow and comment on other people's blogs
3. Be active on chobots and forum
